We’re Mitch and Savanna — couple, elopement & wedding photographers and videographers of the unconventional and adventurous kind. We travel all over the world, but we call the sleepy town of Fort Wayne, Indiana our home. Here’s some little tidbits about us to get us acquainted, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to us so we can learn about you too!
I love cats, travel, impressionist painters, 19th century literature, comic books, martinis, 80’s sci-fi movies, David Lynch films, wine, hip hop, metal, guitars, and coffee. I drink far, far too much coffee.
Indiana-native, California-raised. Audiophile. Loves animals, soft or scaly. Went to Berklee for music production. You can find me on stage as Aela. Michael Crichton fanatic. 200 RYT yogini. Wanted to be a paleontologist for the first half of my life. Metalhead. Models occasionally for Mitch. Grew up in art galleries. Loves weird foods.
We have an addiction, so much so that we subscribed to Shudder just so we could have a healthy dose of horror 24/7. Some of our favorites are Hereditary, The Witch, and It, but we’ll watch pretty much any b, c — who are we kidding — d-list horror movies if we get the chance.
We have a strange affinity for woodsy things, whether it be hiking, shooting photo & video or writing movie scripts about them. We got trees on the brains.
Mitch actually is an un-seemingly excellent craftsman (he wouldn’t tell you that, of course). He built Savanna an amazing desk for her music studio for Christmas last year, and he’s actually in the process of building our dining room table right now.
One of favorite things is treasure hunting yard sales for unique pieces to reclaim and to give a new life, but we also enjoy making new pieces from scratch. We’re looking forward to having our side project Marrowbone up to shop soon!
Late Night Adventures
One of our favorite things is last minute, impromptu photo & video shoots in the most random of places. Something about those wee early morning hours, when the streets are quiet and the neon lights are bright, or when the moon is full and the night-creatures of the forest are humming, really gets us going.
